Hex Rods

Croaker Hex Rods are hand crafted custom rod sticks. Each rod stick is made up of 19 individual rods that have a cross-section that is hexagonal.  The rods are specifically glued together to give them support and allow them to fan out at the tips. The exterior set of rods are each individually coated.  This not only protects the rods, but it also helps protect our drums when played. Additionally the rod tips flare out adding a level of "rebound" when played and also creates a more unique sound. The rods are approximately 16 inches in length and 5/8 inch in diameter.
